My talent was the uncompromising ability to feel spite.
-Grotesque, by Natsuo Kirino
Despite Mordheim's plummet into an ultimate abyss of insanity, it seems that certain fragments of reality - or, perhaps, a "world-that-was" - have dripped into the doomed city. One of these living memories is Alestorm, the Fallen Dwarven Slayer. Once a mighty thane, he was tricked into selling his soul to Tzeentch. Although he escaped the chaos god, the Lord of Change's mark remains on him. Alestorm has become a wretched husk of his former self, reduced to begging and creeping after anyone who will accept his services. He is driven no longer by a righteous anger, only a hateful spite. There is no redemption at the end of his journey, not even revenge awaits him - only murder.
+++ALESTORM, FALLEN DWARVEN SLAYER+++
Alestorm is a HERO. He starts with 8 experience points.
Name | M | WS | BS | S | T | W | I | A | Ld |

Presence: 1 (maximum 10)
Equipment: Two Axes
Skills: Step Aside.
Alestorm may select from Combat or Strength skills whenever he gains an advance.
SPECIAL RULES
Vengeance Wish: Alestorm is a slayer, but he seeks a specific goal, not just an honorable death in combat. This may be a violation of the slayer oath, but what is another broken oath to a dwarf such as he? Alestorm is not immune to psychology as a normal Slayer is, but he hates Thul, Conan and any model with the Mark of Tzeentch (to include Tzeentchian daemons).
Hard to Kill: Dwarves are tough, resilient individuals who can onlye taken out of action on a 6 roll of 6 instead of 5-6 when rolling on the Injury chart. Treat a roll of 5 as stunned.
Hard Head: Dwarves ignore the special rules for maces, clubs etc. They are not very easy individuals to knock out!
Slayer: Alestorm is still a skilled slayer despite his wretched nature. He always wounds any opponent on a D6 roll of 4+, regardless of Toughness, unless his own Strength (with weapon modifiers) would mean that a lower result than this is needed.
Consumed by Spite: Alestorm has a terrifying need to see his mission through and has developed bastardized versions of slayer skills to augment this all-consuming need. When declaring a charge, he gains +1S and +1I the first round of combat. If he is a recipient of a charge, he gains +1T and +1A the first round of combat instead.
Cursed by Tzeentch: Tzeentch's disfavor lays heavy upon Alestorm. This has made him a vortex for magic and misfortune. Any spells directed against him are at +1 to cast. Any daemons in combat with him gain +1 attack. Daemons of Hero level or higher gain 1 Presence point every turn they are in close combat with Alestorm (in addition to gaining +1 attack).
