Endless Whispers: Magic

Mages are allowed in the Endless Whispers Campaign, but they use a modified set of spells since, for example, Arcane Bolt is too powerful.  Wizards roll their spells randomly from the below table.



STARLIGHT FOREST MAGIC

1 - Fires of U'Zhul
Casting Value 5
Select a unit within 18", that unit takes a mortal wound.

2 - Silver Arrows
Casting Value 5
This is a shooting attack which has a Range of 20", D6+2 Attacks, hits on a 5+ and wounds on a 4+ causing 1 damage with no rend.

3 - Flight of Zimmeran
Casting Value 6
Select either the caster or a unit within 6".  Remove the unit and place it anywhere on the board at least 9" away from an enemy model.  This counts as the model's movement for this turn, although it may shoot and charge as normal.

4 - Daemonic Strength
Casting Value 6
Select either the caster or a unit within 12".  That model adds one to its wound rolls until your next hero phase.  Additionally, if that unit slays an enemy model, roll a D6.  On a 5+, the enemy's head is torn off and hurled!  Select an enemy unit within 12" - that unit suffers a mortal wound.

5 - Protect
Casting Value 6
Select a unit within 12".  Until the start of your next hero phase, that unit may roll a D6 whenever it suffers a wound or mortal wound.  On a 4+, it ignores the wound.

6 - Hex
Casting Value 5
Select a unit within 12".  That unit subtracts one from all hit rolls until the start of your next hero phase.
